About Me

I love learning.

It was this pure excitement that got me through middle and high school, and then university. In hindsight, I was fortunate enough to have some incredible world-class teachers. And even when I didn’t — I would seek out external means of developing a genuine curiosity in that subject.

This is the foundation of my approach with every student. To adapt to the way they learn, to their own curiosities, and to tailor my teaching of their material to inspire excitement.

I grew up in Los Angeles, where I worked as a peer tutor in high school, and developed fiction writing classes for middle school students. While attending Columbia University I began teaching Chemistry for NYC families, and was known for my unique story-driven approach to teaching the sciences.

This quickly evolved into tutoring all K-12 Subjects, from introductory Grade 1 Math all the way to the most demanding AP Curriculums. I bring over seven years experience in teaching nearly every subject, and also specialize in working with students with ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, and various learning differences.

For my high school Juniors and Seniors, I train them like warriors with advanced strategies to ace standardize tests, juggle multiple APs, and craft truly memorable college application essays.
